What “encapsulation” means on this site

Contractors and marketing pages often use “encapsulation” for anything from a thin ground plastic sheet to a fully sealed, dehumidified crawl. MoistureCost does not. Full encapsulation here means a sealed crawl package that typically includes ground liner, wall liner, air sealing, vent treatment, and a dehumidifier (installed retail package) with a dedicated outlet allowance.

A ground vapor barrier alone is never labeled encapsulation on this site. If a quote says “encapsulation” but only lists a ground liner, ask for a line-item scope before comparing price.
